  • 3 cups

    Fresh strawberries

    (I dice them into thirds)
  • ½ cup Sugar (If you want to make the strawberries a little sweeter)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup Butter
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Milk

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • In a small bowl, place your diced strawberries and add your ½ (or less) sugar to coat and set aside
  • In large bowl, mix your flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar
  • Mix in your milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract
  • Stir well until combined
  • Pour mixture into 9×13 cooking dish (I use Pam spray on the dish first)
  • Spoon over strawberries on top of batter (Do not stir them in)
  • Bake cobbler for 35-37 mins
  • Serve warm

With this strawberry cobbler, I like to serve it with a scoop of vanilla! I’ve even made glazes for it too and it comes out great.

Y’all, this was the first dessert I’ve made for my boyfriend and i’ve been making it for him ever since. I usually do my cobblers with peaches or blueberries but my boyfriend loves strawberries so I decided to make it with strawberries for the first time and now it is my go to dessert. But feel free to replace the strawberries with something you prefer. Enjoy!
